Introduction:
Sustainable design involves designing of physical objects, the environment and services to meet the principles of social, economic and ecological sustainability.

The Aim:
The aim of sustainable design is to prevent negative environmental impact by constantly using only renewable sources and designing sensibly to suit the purpose of the object well.


Products:
The two types of products from sustainable design is microcosm, small appliances for daily use, and macrocosm, large structures such as buildings and cities.

Fields:
Examples of sustainable design are:sustainable planning, sustainable architecture, sustainable landscape architecture, sustainable graphic design, agriculture, domestic machinery and furniture, disposable products and in the energy sector.

ADMT Lesson 1:Personal Reflection



Q.What is Art, Design, Media and Technology (ADMT) to you?

A.I think ADMT is a variety of involvements of innovation and creativity. Art is based largely on creativity, design also requires the flexibility of your imagination, media has great diversity and technology especially focuses on innovation.


Q.Why is ADMT important?

A.That is because it expresses uniqueness in everything, and problems will occur if all were of the same build and had the same looks.


Q.What are the skills that you would want to learn in ADMT?

A. I would like to learn more on drawing, designing of tools and machines and doing animation.
